Peter Makin

Peter Makin is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in strategic partnerships and commercial development within the HR sector. Currently serving as the Strategic Partnerships Director at Working Futures since October 2025, Peter focuses on aligning HR Solutions Providers with decision-makers in the industry. Prior to this role, Peter contributed to HR Grapevine as the Commercial Partnership Director, where responsibilities included overseeing business development and managing key accounts. Previous positions include Global Account Director at Fastener + Fixing Magazine and Business Development Manager - Europe at HRreview. Peter’s earlier career at HR Grapevine spanned several roles, culminating in Vice President of Client Relations and Head of Sales. Peter began the career in international sales at Expomedia Group. Peter holds an HND in Design Communications from Solent University and a GNVQ in Communication and Media Studies from Oaklands College.
