Heather Thompson

Heather Thompson has extensive experience in both technical support and health promotion. Currently serving as a Product Support Solution Lead at Workiva, Heather has progressed through multiple technical support roles since March 2019. Prior experience includes a relevant role as an Exercise Coordinator Graduate Research Assistant at Iowa State University, where Heather contributed to NIH-funded clinical trials focusing on lifestyle changes and their impacts on cardiovascular health. Additional roles include a Health Promotion Intern with the City of Ames, where health promotion programs were developed for local workplaces, and positions in various capacities at the Summer Youth Fitness Camp and the Hawkeye Care Center. Heather holds a Master’s Degree in Kinesiology and Health, emphasizing Physical Activity Epidemiology, and a Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology and Health with a focus on Pre-Physical Therapy.
