Cristina Samson

Cristina Samson is an accomplished communications professional with extensive experience in strategic communications and customer experience management. Currently serving as the Principal Advisor Strategic Communications at WorkSafe New Zealand since February 2022, Cristina has held various roles including Customer Experience Manager and Principal Advisor Communications and Engagement. Prior experience includes positions at the Real Estate Authority as Communications and Awareness Manager, and the Department of Internal Affairs (NZ) where roles encompassed Principal Advisor - External Communications, Acting General Manager Communications, and Communications Team Lead. Cristina's expertise also extends to the Ministry of Health New Zealand and Inland Revenue NZ, where Cristina provided critical communications and marketing support. Previous experience includes media production roles in social welfare and development, showcasing a long-standing commitment to effective communication. Cristina holds a Bachelor's degree in Communication and Media Studies from Miriam College.
