Jamie Rees

Jamie Rees is an experienced cyber security professional currently serving as the Enterprise Information Security Officer at WorkSafeNB since March 2020. Previously, Jamie held notable roles including Chair of the ICTC - Cyber Security Leadership Council on Youth and Education, where strategic insights were provided to develop Canada’s National Cyber Security Education Initiative. Jamie also served as the Chief Information Security Officer at Énergie NB Power, overseeing all enterprise security processes, and held various senior roles in information security at the Government of New Brunswick, CTFS, Bell Aliant, and NBTel/Aliant, demonstrating extensive expertise in information assurance, risk governance, and security architecture. Jamie's academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Information Security from Royal Holloway, University of London, and a Certificate in Cybersecurity Oversight from Carnegie Mellon University.
