Lisa Walker

Lisa Walker has extensive work experience in the field of information technology. Lisa currently holds the position of Chief Information Officer at WorkSafeNB/Travail sécuritaire NB since June 2020. Prior to this, they served as the Transformation Lead at the same company from January 2020 to June 2020.

Before joining WorkSafeNB, Lisa worked at Service New Brunswick from 2013 to 2020, taking on various roles including Director of Health Application Services, Director of Business Services and Engagement, and Manager of Applications in the Saint John Area.

From 2010 to 2013, Lisa worked at FacilicorpNB as the Manager of IT Service Management. In this role, they were responsible for improving processes, facilitating groups, understanding customer needs, defining reporting requirements, and implementing change management plans. Lisa also led special projects, such as the development of a Customer Experience Program and participated in strategic planning.

Lisa began their career at Fujitsu Consulting in 1995, where they held positions such as Service Desk Manager, Service Desk Team Lead, and Programmer/Analyst/Team Lead. Their responsibilities included managing Service Desk operations, employee scheduling, workload management, incident management, and policy/process definition.

Overall, Lisa has demonstrated a strong background in IT leadership, transformation, project management, and process improvement throughout their career.

Lisa Walker's education history includes a Public Service Management Certificate from the University of New Brunswick, which they obtained from 2011 to 2012. Prior to that, they completed a degree in Computer Programming Technology at NBCC (New Brunswick Community College) between 1992 and 1994.
