Bruce Mead

Bruce Mead currently serves as the Garden Lead at the East McKinney Learning Garden, focusing on alleviating food deserts by promoting food-producing gardens in the community. Additionally, Bruce holds board member positions with the McKinney Parks Foundation and the City of McKinney Parks, Recreation, and Open Spaces. Bruce is an advisory figure at Work Shield and part of the Brewery Advisory Team at Tupps Brewery, alongside being a partner at Kaige Kubota and L&L AutoLink. Previously, Bruce held senior leadership roles at UnitedHealth Group and its subsidiary OptumRx, overseeing strategic growth and client relations, as well as managing a $65 billion pharmacy care services division. Bruce earned an MBA from Washington University in St. Louis and a BSBA in Finance from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
