Brent Nowicki serves as the Chief Executive Officer of World Aquatics since June 2021, bringing extensive experience in sports law and anti-doping policy from previous roles. Prior to this position, Brent was the Managing Counsel and Head of the Anti-Doping Division at the Court of Arbitration for Sport from February 2013 to June 2021, where responsibilities included collaboration with various international sports organizations on legal matters. Earlier in Brent’s career, a tenure at Hodgson Russ LLP from September 2006 to February 2013 allowed for the development of a sports law practice, negotiating contracts for athletes and sports entities. Brent began the legal career as a Litigation Legal Assistant at Fulbright & Jaworski from 2001 to 2003. Educational qualifications include a Juris Doctor from the University at Buffalo School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from Fairfield University.
