Jay Thomas

Jay Thomas is an experienced professional in aquatic sports administration and franchise development. Currently serving as Secretary of the Technical Swimming Committee for World Aquatics since July 2022 and Chairman of the Swimming Committee for PanAm Aquatics since January 2020, Jay has also held significant roles at Orangetheory Fitness, including Area Developer and President of the Franchise Advisory Council from 2017 to 2019. Prior experience includes serving as Chairman of the Rules and Regulations Committee for USA Swimming from 2014 to September 2018 and a distinguished career in the US Navy as a Commander and Pilot from September 1982 to October 2002. Jay Thomas holds a Bachelor of Science in Administrative Management from Clemson University, earned between 1978 and 1982.
