Laurent Boquillet

Laurent Boquillet currently serves as the Head of Global Development at World Athletics, a position held since July 2020. Prior to this role, Laurent was involved with the Fédération Française d'Athlétisme from July 2009 to July 2020, taking on significant responsibilities such as CEO of the European Athletics Championships Paris 2020 and Meeting Director for the Diamond League Paris. Additional experience includes positions at Sport Heroes Group as an Advisor, Managing Director at Golazo, and various roles at ASO Amaury Sport Organisation, Juventus Football Club, adidas group, ISport France, and ASO, with a strong focus on event management and sports marketing throughout Laurent's career. Laurent's educational background includes a Master’s degree in Physiology and Training from UEREPS Dijon, completed in 1986.
