Luc Gendre

Luc Gendre is a Junior Professional Associate at The World Bank, where responsibilities include facilitating lending operations and advisory services in Central Africa since September 2020. Previous experience includes consulting on infrastructure projects across Central and West Africa and serving as a Research Affiliate at the MIT Center for Transportation & Logistics, leading a famine response initiative in Nigeria in collaboration with UNICEF. Luc has also worked as a Graduate Research Assistant, developing visual analytics technologies for development challenges, and as a Project Engineer Intern at Solarmad, conducting energy assessments and installing photovoltaic systems in Madagascar. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Technology and Policy from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Master of International Policy focusing on International Development and Humanitarian Action from the University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne, among other degrees.
