Midori Makino is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in water and sanitation management, currently serving as the Lead Water and Sanitation Specialist at The World Bank since July 1998, focusing on the Latin America and the Caribbean Region. Midori has held various leadership roles, including Manager of Sustainable Development within the Independent Evaluation Group and Lead Evaluation Officer as Thematic Leader for Infrastructure and Sustainable Development. Prior to joining The World Bank, Midori worked as a Financial Analyst at Morgan Stanley from 1993 to 1996.
