Ilya Merenzon

Ilya Merenzon is an accomplished business executive with extensive experience in leadership roles, currently serving as the CEO of WORLD CHESS EVENTS since 2014. Previously, Ilya held the position of CEO at Press Release Group from January 2007 to 2014 and served as Publisher for Russia! magazine from 2008 to 2012. Ilya also contributed to the New York City Housing Authority as part of the E-Government project from June 2000 to September 2002. Academically, Ilya holds a Ph.D. in Economics from The New School (2003-2009) and an MBA in International Business from Pace University's Lubin School of Business (1999-2000).
