Maurice Emiola Adefalou

Maurice Emiola ADEFALOU is an experienced professional in customs and international relations, currently serving as the IPR, Health and Safety Programme Manager and Chairperson of the WCO Counterfeit and Piracy Group at the World Customs Organization since December 2018. Prior experience includes roles as Directeur Législation et Relations Internationales at the Direction Générale des Douanes Bénin, where responsibilities involved financial law preparation and international relations, and multiple leadership positions at the Direction Générale des Douanes et Droits Indirects du Bénin, focusing on fraud prevention and risk management. Additionally, Maurice ADEFALOU contributed to education as an instructor at the École Nationale des Douanes du Bénin. ADEFALOU holds a Licence in Diplomacy and International Relations from the Ecole Nationale d'Administration du Bénin, as well as advanced degrees in Business Law and Taxation from Université d'Abomey-Calavi.
