Aarti Tandon is an accomplished leader with extensive experience in public policy and urban development. Currently serving as CEO of Smart City Expo USA since December 2019, Aarti guides the country's primary platform for promoting future-ready cities. In addition, Aarti is a Global Ambassador for the Global Impact Initiative and a Fellow in the Civil Society Fellowship at The Aspen Institute. Aarti's involvement with the World Economic Forum's G20 Global Smart City Alliance and as an Affiliate at CityFi underscores a commitment to smart city initiatives. Previous roles include Head of Strategic Partnerships at FYI, International Advisory Council Member at APCO Worldwide, and Senior Advisor for Bloomberg 2020, along with a history of legal practice serving diverse creative clients. Aarti holds a Doctor of Law degree from Cardozo School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from Emory University.
