Community Lead, Regional Agenda - Europe And Eurasia at World Economic Forum

Alex Roth's work experience starts in 2012 as an Assistant Tax Consultancy at Zürcher Kantonalbank. They then worked as an Academic Intern at the Embassy of Switzerland to Spain and Andorra from October 2015 to July 2016. In 2016, they became a Research Assistant at the Universität Zürich from October 2016 to July 2017. From September 2017 to August 2018, they served as an Attaché for Political, Cultural, and Scientific Affairs at the Embassy of Switzerland to Spain and Andorra. Moving forward, Alex joined the World Economic Forum in November 2019 as a Coordinator for the Regional Agenda - Europe and Eurasia. They later assumed the role of Community Specialist for the same agenda from March 2020 to February 2022. Currently, Alex is working as a Community Lead for the Regional Agenda - Europe and Eurasia at the World Economic Forum since February 2022.

Alex Roth has a diverse education background. In 2007, they attended Kantonsschule Enge in Zürich and obtained an English-German Bilingual Matura, with a focus on Law & Economics, in 2011. Moving forward, Alex studied at the University of Zurich from 2012 to 2015, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences. Their field of study was Political Science and Economics. During their time at the University of Zurich, Alex also participated in a French Language and Social Science Program at Sciences Po in 2013. In 2015, they attended Københavns Universitet (University of Copenhagen), focusing on Political Science and Danish Language. Alex continued their education at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) in 2018, obtaining an MSc in International Political Economy in 2019. More recently, in 2021, they completed a program on Negotiation Mastery at Harvard Business School Online.
