Alexander Brown's work experience begins with their role as Partner Engagement Lead, Strategic Partners at the World Economic Forum, which they started in January 2020. In this role, they collaborate with top global companies across multiple sectors to engage their senior executives in Forum communities and initiatives.

Prior to this, in 2015, Brown became a Founding Board Member of the Kurt H. Brown Foundation.

From October 2016 to January 2020, they served as the Director of Communications and Member Relations at the World Trade Centers Association. In this role, they led global communications, media relations, thought leadership, and member-relations services for over 325 institutional members across almost 100 countries.

In this role, they promoted groundbreaking research, managed the brand, engaged authors and scientific communities, and led corporate communications functions for the Americas.

Additionally, Brown served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant from January 2011 to December 2014 at Columbia University in the City of New York. Alexander assisted a former professor in teaching and coaching students for the graduate program in Strategic Communications.

Starting in April 2010, Brown worked at the New York Blood Center (NYBC) in several roles. As the Assistant Director of Corporate & Community Relations, they established and managed strategic partnerships, organized fundraising efforts and major events, and developed Corporate Social Responsibility platforms for key partners. Alexander later became the Manager of Corporate & Community Relations, where they managed key accounts, achieved substantial growth in blood donations, and represented NYBC in meetings and media appearances. Prior to that, they served as an Account Manager, achieving significant increases in blood donations in their region.

Overall, Brown has extensive experience in partner engagement, communications, brand positioning, strategic counsel, and leadership roles.

Alexander Brown has a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Strategic Communications from Columbia University. Alexander also holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree in International Business and Marketing from The George Washington University.
