Clayton Root

Clayton Root has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Clayton is currently a Partner & Business Engagement Lead at the World Economic Forum since December 2021. Prior to that, Clayton worked as a Senior Director and Head of Digital Strategy at Kellen from November 2020 to August 2021, and as a Director of Marketing from December 2018 to November 2020. Clayton also has experience as a Director at Oxygen Forensics, Inc. from April 2018 to November 2018. Clayton's earlier roles include Vice President and Director at XOR Data Exchange, Inc., Marketing Communications Manager at EECU Credit Union, Media Relations Representative and PR Coordinator at M/C/C, and an Intern in Account Services at Publicis. Clayton began their career as an Intern in PR & Graphic Design at JODesign, LLC and also worked as an Intern in Entertainment PR at MY Enterprises.

Clayton Root holds a B.S. degree in Advertising & Public Relations from Texas Christian University. Clayton also completed an M.A. degree in International Business & Policy from Georgetown University. Currently, Clayton is pursuing a Certificate in Power and Influence for Positive Impact from Harvard Business School, which is expected to be completed in 2023.
