Francis Chow

Francis Chow is an experienced executive serving as VP & GM of In-Vehicle Operating System and Edge at Red Hat since July 2021, where responsibilities include overseeing the Edge business and product management for a new product category. Chow participates as a governing board member of SOAFEE and as a participating executive in the Automotive in the Software-Driven Era Initiative at the World Economic Forum. Previous roles include VP at VMware, where leadership responsibilities spanned business development and operations, and Vice President and GM at Altera, managing a $1B P&L. Chow holds an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley, and multiple degrees in electrical engineering, including a BS from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and an MS from the University of California, Berkeley.
