Henry Gonzalez is a highly experienced professional in climate finance and sustainable investing. Currently serving as Chief Investment Officer at the Green Climate Fund since September 2021, Henry oversees the climate blended finance portfolio and engages with strategic partners. Previous roles include Deputy Executive Officer and Director of the Private Sector Facility at the Green Climate Fund, as well as positions at the World Economic Forum, Saïd Business School at the University of Oxford, and the World Bank Group, where Henry led initiatives on financial inclusion and impact investing. Henry's career also includes leadership roles in organizations such as FMO - Dutch Development Bank, responsAbility Investments AG, Morgan Stanley, and the United Nations Development Program. Henry holds an MBA in Finance and Social Entrepreneurship from Saïd Business School, an MPA from Harvard Kennedy School, and a BA in Political Science from Universidad de Costa Rica.
