Mahmoud Jabari

Mahmoud Jabari has a diverse work history, with their most recent role being the Lead for Europe and the Middle East at the World Economic Forum. In this position, Mahmoud is responsible for designing and planning the 2023 YGL Annual Summit in Dubai, UAE. Mahmoud leads a team of 11 staff members and oversees various aspects such as programming, communication, and logistics. Mahmoud has also acted as the Acting Lead for Europe and the Middle East at the World Economic Forum, where they advised on public sector engagement initiatives and oversaw the selection process of Young Global Leaders. Prior to their roles at the World Economic Forum, Mahmoud worked as a Specialist in Africa & the Middle East, managing a community of Young Global Leaders and facilitating strategic partnerships and global collaborations. Before joining the World Economic Forum, Mahmoud worked as an Economic Development Associate at the Office of the Quartet, collaborating with various stakeholders and providing political briefings. Mahmoud also gained experience as an intern at Henry Schein, conducting research on cutting-edge technologies, and as a Corporate Fellow at Ketchum, where they assisted with press releases and storytelling strategies for clients. Mahmoud's work experience also includes an internship at Relief International, where they reviewed existing literature and conducted field visits, and a role as a Communication Assistant at The Emergent Media Center, where they researched and implemented strategies for marketing a soccer video game and managed a team of university students. Overall, Mahmoud Jabari has a diverse background in project management, strategic partnerships, public sector engagement, and economic development.

Mahmoud Jabari completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Communication from Champlain College in the years 2011 to 2015. Mahmoud then pursued a Master of Arts degree in International Relations and Affairs from The Fletcher School at Tufts University from 2015 to 2018. In addition to their formal education, Mahmoud also obtained certifications in the Middlebury College Hebrew Language Immersion Program in August 2021 and the Global Leadership & Public Policy for the 21st Century course from Harvard Kennedy School in June 2021.
