Olivier Bertrand is an accomplished academic and expert in strategy, currently serving as an Expert at HCERES since October 2024 and a Full Professor of Strategy at FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas since January 2018. Bertrand holds positions on the Research Advisory Board at Aix-Marseille Graduate School of Management and as a member of the Expert Network at the World Economic Forum, both since June 2023 and January 2019, respectively. Previously, Bertrand contributed to Rennes School of Business as a member of the International Scientific Committee until December 2022 and held various academic positions at SKEMA Business School, Graduate School of Management St. Petersburg State University, Toulouse School of Economics, and the Research Institute of Industrial Economics. Bertrand earned a Doctorate in Economics, specializing in International Economics, from the University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne, alongside other advanced academic qualifications in economics and management from esteemed institutions.
