Vesselina Ratcheva

Vesselina Ratcheva, PhD, has extensive experience in research and data analytics, currently serving as the Head of Metrics, Communication Strategy and Coordination at the World Economic Forum since July 2015. In this role, Vesselina leads the delivery of key insight and thought leadership products, including flagship reports such as the Global Gender Gap Reports and Global Future of Jobs Reports, while overseeing significant surveys like the Executive Opinion Survey and Future of Jobs Survey. Previously, Vesselina worked as a Data Analyst at National Numeracy, where core analytic metrics were developed to inform decision-making. Academic credentials include a PhD in Social Anthropology from the University of Sussex, along with an MSc in Comparative and Cross-Cultural Research Methodologies from the same institution, and undergraduate studies at the University of Cambridge.
