Nancy Moricette

Nancy Moricette has a diverse work experience in the field of diversity, equity, and inclusion. Nancy currently serves as the Director of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging at World Education Services since 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Founder and Diversity Equity & Inclusion Strategist at Áse Power Consult from 2014 onwards, where they developed change strategies to promote diversity and inclusion in various organizations. Nancy also worked as a Diversity & Equity Expert at Expert Effect in 2020 and as an Executive DEI Facilitator at enrich in 2021. Nancy has further experience as a Diversity Consultant & Facilitator at the Center for Nonprofit Management from 2019 to 2020 and as a Development Chair at Emerging Arts Leaders/Los Angeles from 2018 to 2020. Previously, Nancy served as a Community Expansion and Equity, Diversity & Access Consultant at The Wilma Theater from 2016 to 2019, an Educator at Magnolia Park High School in 2018, an Inclusion & Diversity Education Advisor at iO WEST Los Angeles from 2017 to 2018, and a Diversity and Inclusion Consultant at Homeboy Industries in 2017.

Nancy Moricette completed their Master's of Science in Education with a focus on Leadership in Community Based Programs from Bank Street College of Education in 2013. Nancy received their Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Theatre/Theater from Roosevelt University, although the specific time frame is unknown. In 2020, they studied Diversity and Inclusion in the Workplace at Essec Business School/Coursera and obtained certifications in Foundations of Health Equity Research and Diversity and Inclusion in the Workplace from Coursera. Nancy also completed Anti-Racist Training at the People's Institute for Survival and Beyond, and Anti-Bias in Education Training at the Southern Poverty Law Center, without specifying the years of completion. Additionally, they have completed coursework in Leading for Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion in Higher Education, also from Coursera.
