Barbara M. Kenney, MBA, M.S., CHRO has extensive work experience in human resources and leadership roles. Barbara M.'smost recent position is as the Head of Human Resources and Culture at World Energy, LLC, where they currently work. Prior to this, they worked as the Managing Partner and Founder of WayPoint Strategix, a company that assists senior leaders in developing talent strategies and aligning people with business goals. Barbara M. also held the role of SVP and Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) at Mohegan Gaming & Entertainment, where they created a global Human Capital Strategy and implemented cultural and talent practices to drive competitive advantage. Additionally, Barbara worked at The Hartford Financial Services Group as a VP of Human Resources, where they led the redesign of the organization and facilitated the achievement of new business strategies. Before that, they were an AVP of HR - Healthcare Operations at CIGNA Healthcare, where they led the human capital function during a major business transformation. Early in their career, Barbara held leadership roles at Friendly's Ice Cream, LLC, where they focused on addressing human capital issues that directly impacted restaurant performance and overall business results.

Barbara M. Kenney, MBA, M.S., CHRO has obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Management from Rensselaer at Work. Barbara M. has also achieved a Master of Science degree in Counseling Psychology from Central Connecticut State University. Additionally, Barbara has completed their high school education at Ridgefield High School.
