Gary Grimes has a diverse work experience in the energy industry, spanning over several decades. Gary started their career as a Senior Engineer and Program Leader at ROCKWELL INTERNATIONAL/ATLANTIC RICHFIELD, where they managed a high-level radioactive waste characterization program. Gary then worked as a Senior Consultant at THE PACE CONSULTANTS, managing various client assignments in the energy, chemical, pharmaceutical, banking, and financial services industries.
Grimes then transitioned to Paramount Petroleum Corporation, where they served as the Vice President of Planning and Economics. In this role, they supervised a team and was responsible for strategic planning, production scheduling, yield accounting, and loss control for an oil refinery. Gary also discovered and eliminated theft, leading to significant monetary recovery.
After their time at Paramount Petroleum, Grimes joined EOTT Energy Corporation as the Director of Refinery Processing and Regulatory Compliance/Business Development. There, they directed a contract manufacturing business and ensured regulatory compliance on the West Coast.
Grimes then co-founded Grimes & McLeod, a consulting firm, where they marketed, managed, and executed client assignments in the energy industry and advised on refinery expansions and projects.
Gary later joined Paramount Petroleum Corp (Division of Alon USA) as the Director of Technology, leading IT and QA/QC Laboratory staff and overseeing the migration of business systems and networks from other companies to Alon USA.
Before their current role, Grimes was the Director of Technology at Paramount Petroleum Corp (Division of Delek US), where they obtained the first international sustainability certification for sustainable aviation fuel, diesel fuel, and gasoline.
Currently, Grimes serves as the Director of Business Development, Sustainability and Technology at World Energy, LLC. In this position, they lead efforts to reduce carbon intensity in various fuel sectors and supports sustainability initiatives for company facilities while assisting in the development of future facilities and technologies.

Gary Grimes completed their Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering from Montana State University-Bozeman from 1969 to 1973.
