Markus Stefan Hofer

Markus Stefan Hofer serves as the UN Communications and Advocacy Officer for the World Evangelical Alliance since February 2022, focusing on promoting peace, freedom of religion, and human rights at UN human rights mechanisms in Geneva. Co-founding Poulpoïd Production SNC in October 2015, Markus engages in various aspects of production, including writing and editing. Previous roles include Associate Fellow and Head of News Department at the SHR - Security & Human Rights Academy, as well as a UN Advocacy Intern at the World Evangelical Alliance. Markus has experience in customer service as a receptionist at Hôtel Bel'Espérance and served in the Swiss Air Force as an infantry soldier. Academically, Markus is pursuing a Master's degree in Journalism and Communication at the University of Geneva, following a comprehensive educational background in international relations, visual studies, and economics.
