Benny Andersson

Benny Andersson is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in leadership roles within animal welfare organizations. Currently serving as CEO of Project 1882 since May 2024, Benny also holds the position of Generalsekreterare/CEO at Djurens Rätt, where involvement dates back to September 2000 with various roles including Verksamhetschef, Social Media Manager, Campaign Director, and Campaign Manager. Additionally, Benny is a Board Representative for both the World Federation for Animals and Eurogroup for Animals since December 2020 and March 2019, respectively. Benny's career began at Sparbanken Tanum, where service spanned from June 1997 to August 2000. Benny completed studies at the University of Gothenburg from 1997 to 2000, following earlier education at Strömstad Gymnasium from 1995 to 1997.
