Atala Deborah

Atala Deborah is a seasoned finance and administration professional with extensive experience in managing financial resources and administrative functions across various organizations. Currently serving as a Finance and Administration Officer at the World Food Programme since June 2021, Atala supports resource stewardship, budget monitoring, and operational efficiency. Previous roles include Head of Finance and Administration at Self Help Africa and Finance and Administration Manager positions at the Independent Development Fund and VECO EastAfrica, among others. Atala holds an MBA in Finance from Edinburgh Business School, a Certified Public Accountant designation from the Institute Of Certified Public Accountants Uganda, and a BSC (Hons) in Applied Accounting from Oxford Brookes University, alongside other relevant certifications and a Bachelor of Science in Education from Makerere University.
