Benjamin Umeh

Benjamin Umeh currently serves as the Lead Data Scientist in the Research, Assessment and Monitoring Unit at the World Food Programme since October 2022. Previously, Umeh worked as an External Contractor Data Analyst Tutor at Udacity from March 2022 to October 2022 and held multiple roles at mPharma from May 2019 to October 2022, including Staff Engineer - Data and Senior Data Analyst. At the Wikimedia Foundation, Umeh contributed as a Senior Data Analyst focused on dashboard development and creating the “Equity Data Landscape Dashboard.” Umeh’s earlier experience includes a Data Analyst position at Field Intelligence Inc. and freelance consultancy in data analysis. Umeh holds a Master of Science in Financial Engineering from WorldQuant University, a Master of Science in Applied Economics from Enugu State University of Science and Technology, and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka.
