Bonnie Oyando

Bonnie Oyando is an experienced agricultural economist currently serving at the World Food Programme as part of the Evidence Creation and Reporting team since September 2023. Bonnie has a strong background in project management and technical assistance, having previously held the role of Deputy Regional Manager for Ultra Poor Graduation at BRAC International, where responsibilities included designing context-sensitive programs and reviewing technical proposals across multiple countries. Other significant positions include serving as Enterprise and Savings Lead at Village Enterprise, Project Officer at Self Help Africa, Business Development Manager at Zelena Grow Limited, and Project Officer at FreeKenya Foundation. Bonnie holds a BSc in Agricultural Economics from Egerton University, a Professional Certification in Monitoring and Evaluation from the Kenya Institute of Management, and is pursuing a Master's in Project Planning & Management at Maseno University while also completing an e-Course on Resilient Food Systems from Wageningen University & Research.
