Daniela Melillo is a seasoned Facilities Management Officer with extensive experience in workspace and real estate management at the World Food Programme since May 2015. Daniela has demonstrated leadership in creating inclusive work environments while providing guidance on real estate and facilities management to field offices. Daniela's expertise includes effective space planning and management for large HQ operations, overseeing a team of nine architects, engineers, and technicians. Prior to the WFP, Daniela held various roles including Projects Manager at the United Nations, Construction Program Coordinator for the French Red Cross, and Project Manager/Engineer for the Correction Advisor Unit, as well as Technical Coordinator for INTERSOS in Chad. Daniela holds a Master’s Degree in Analysis and Management of Projects for Development from the University of Milano and a Master of Architecture from the University of Firenze.
