Francis Thomas

Francis Thomas currently serves as the Business Innovation and Change Team Leader at the World Food Programme and as Team Leader at the UN Advisory Alliance, both roles starting in February 2024. Prior experience includes consulting positions at Bain & Company from September 2019 to February 2024, where responsibilities evolved from Associate Consultant to Senior Associate Consultant and Consultant. Francis also contributed to the World Food Programme as a Consultant in the Business Innovation and Change Unit in early 2023, and worked as a Grants Consultant for Basmeh & Zeitooneh. Additional experience includes internships at the Heinrich Böll Foundation, Sotheby's, and Brunswick Group, as well as a freelance consultancy role with Plural Strategy. Academically, Francis holds an MA in Middle Eastern Studies with Intensive Arabic from SOAS University of London and a First Class BA in French and German from the University of Oxford.
