Julia Bacher-Lubitz

Julia Bacher-Lubitz is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in change management, operational leadership, and partnerships within the World Food Programme since 2005. Currently serving in Change Management roles for Global Asset Services, Julia leads the global rollout of the Engineering Digital Platform and enhances engineering loan processes. Previous notable positions include Head of Information Management during the COVID-19 pandemic, where Julia facilitated cross-divisional collaboration, and Head of Partnerships and Communications for the WFP Innovation Accelerator, successfully securing nearly USD$ 50 million in funding. Earlier roles involved strategic management in humanitarian operations, donor relations, and logistics for large-scale aid efforts. Julia holds an MBA from the University of Geneva and a Master's degree from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München.
