Koma Richard James

Koma Richard James is currently serving as a Monitoring and Evaluation Officer at the World Food Programme since December 2021, where responsibilities include managing and monitoring activities related to the South Sudan Interim Country Strategic Plan and providing capacity building for field staff. Previous experience encompasses roles such as Senior Field Monitor at Management Systems International, MEAL Officer at CARE, M&E Coordinator at Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, M&E Officer at International Medical Corps, M&E Officer at HealthNet TPO, and Program Officer for Education and Child Protection at AFOD. Koma has acquired extensive skills in data analysis, reporting, qualitative data collection, and project management through these roles. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in Project Planning and Management from the University of Nairobi and a Bachelor of Arts in Education from the University of Bahr el Ghazal.
