Matteo Cafarotti has a diverse and extensive work experience in software development and architecture. Matteo started their career in 2004 at Theorematica S.p.A. as a Software Developer. Matteo then worked at Gepin S.p.A. from 2005 to 2008, where they developed J2EE web applications for POSTE ITALIANE SPA (BANCOPOSTA). At Intersistemi Italia S.p.A., from 2008 to 2010, Matteo worked as a Software Developer, focusing on J2EE web application development and database development for notable clients. Matteo joined K-Tech as a Software Developer from 2010 to 2011 before moving to Silicondev as a Software Developer from 2011 to 2013. Afterward, Matteo worked at SOFTLAB S.p.A. as a Software Developer for a brief period of time in 2013. Finally, they joined the World Food Programme in 2013 as a Senior Developer and later served as a Solutions Architect & Lead Developer, where they were responsible for the design, implementation, and management of software architectures, as well as coordinating with external vendors and applying Agile methodologies as a Scrum Master.

Matteo Cafarotti has a Diploma Maturità Scientifica from L.S.S Cavour, obtained from 1994 to 1999. Matteo also has two Post Diploma degrees in Information Technology, one from Prael Sistemi Spa obtained from 2004 to 2005, and another from Consorzio Scuola Lavoro Roma obtained in 2004. Additionally, they have several certifications including PRINCE2 Agile® Foundation Certificate obtained in February 2023, ITIL Foundation Level (year 2023), Scrum Master Certified (SMC) (year 2023), Certified Scrum Product Owner® (CSPO®) obtained in November 2022, AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate obtained in May 2021, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner (May 2021), and GCP Developer Enablement Program (year 2019).
