World Food Programme
Parvinder Singh serves as the Head of Communications and Media for the United Nations World Food Programme India since October 2020, where a communication strategy is developed to achieve the Country's Strategic Plan 2023-27 goals. Previous roles include Head of North America for the Confederation of Indian Industry, Communications Manager for the International Committee of the Red Cross, Associate Director for Catalyst: Inclusive Cashless Payment Partnership, and Manager of Corporate Communications at CBM India. Parvinder has also been the National Campaigns Manager at Oxfam and Head of Advocacy & Communications at Christian Aid, among other positions focused on advocacy, communications, and media outreach within various organizations. Educational qualifications include an M.Phil-PhD in Modern History from Jawaharlal Nehru University, a PGDM in Marketing from the Institute of Management Technology, and a Certification in Communication from the United Nations System Staff College.
