Ira Birns

Ira Birns is the current EVP & CFO at World Fuel Services. Prior to their current position, they were VP Treasurer/VP Investor Relations at Arrow Electronics from October 1989 to April 2007. Before that, they were Internal Auditor/Assistant Treasurer at Culbro Corporation from July 1983 to October 1989.

Ira Birns has a BBA in Accounting from Hofstra University and a BBA in Business Administration and Management, General, from NYU. Ira also has a certification from New York in CPA and a certification from Association for Financial Professionals in CTP.

Ira Birns reports to Michael J. Kasbar, Chairman & CEO. They are on a team with Fernando Casadevall - CHRO, Jose-Miguel Tejada - SVP & Chief Accounting Officer, and Jeff Weissman - SVP & Chief Commercial Counsel.
