Haydn Main

Haydn Main is currently the General Counsel at the World Gold Council. Prior to this, they were the Head of Legal for EMEA at Renaissance Capital from June 2007 to September 2018. Before that, they were an Associate at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP from September 2002 to May 2007.

Haydn Main studied for a BA (Hons) in Law at the University of Oxford, and went on to study for an LLM in International Law at the New York University School of Law.

They are on a team with Mike Oswin - Global Head, Market Structure & Innovation, Joseph Cavatoni - Global Head, Sales & Regional CEO, USA, and Andrew Naylor - Regional CEO, APAC & Public Policy. Haydn Main reports to David Tait, CEO.
