Dana Willis

Dana Willis serves as the General Counsel at KIPP NYC since August 2022, bringing extensive legal expertise from previous roles. At the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, Incorporated, as Managing Counsel of Commercial Affairs from April 2020 to July 2022, Dana managed global commercial transactions and a team of attorneys. An adjunct assistant professor at The City College of New York in early 2020, Dana taught Legal Research and Writing. Previous positions include Principal, Associate General Counsel at Bessemer Trust (2013-2019), Vice President and Counsel at AllianceBernstein L.P. (2007-2013), and corporate associate at Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP (1999-2007). Dana holds a JD from Columbia Law School and an A.B. in English and Economics from Harvard University.
