Mabel Carrero

Mabel Carrero is a highly experienced professional in the fields of sustainable building and legal policy, currently serving as the Market Development and Partnerships Manager at the World Green Building Council since August 2019, and as the Americas Regional Network Advisor. Prior to this role, Mabel held significant positions at the Consejo Colombiano de Construcción Sostenible, where responsibilities included commercial strategy and membership management, as well as providing legal and public policy advisory on projects related to sustainable construction. Earlier experiences include legal advisory roles at the Ministry of Housing, City and Territory, and CAMACOL, focusing on legal aspects of urban development and legislative lobbying. Mabel holds a degree in Law from Universidad de Los Andes and a specialization in Urban Law from Universidad del Rosario.
