Andrew Kennedy

Andrew Kennedy currently serves as the Head of the Executive Management Unit for the Global Polio Eradication Initiative at the World Health Organization, a position held since August 2022. Previously, Andrew managed strategic controlling at the Global Fund from May 2010 to April 2022, leading a diverse team to enhance cost efficiency. Andrew's career began in health research roles, including a Senior Research Officer position at the Council on Health Research for Development, where significant contributions were made to health research systems in over 70 countries. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Health Economics from Brunel University and a BS in Statistics and Computing Science from the University of Aberdeen.
