Angelito Bermudez

Angelito Bermudez has extensive experience in security management, currently serving as the Director of Global Security and SFP at the World Health Organization since February 2012. In this role, Angelito is the principal adviser on security to WHO's Regional Office and 23 Country Offices across the Middle East, North Africa, Pakistan, and Afghanistan. Prior to joining WHO, Angelito worked as a Security Advisor for the United Nations Security and Safety Services from June 2006 to January 2012, advising all UN agencies in the region. Angelito's military background includes over 20 years of service as a Regular Commissioned Officer in the Armed Forces of the Philippines, performing various military command and staff functions. Angelito holds a Master's degree in Business Administration and Management from the Asian Institute of Management and a Bachelor of Science degree from the Philippine Military Academy, along with additional training from the US Army Logistics Management College.
