Gabriella Stern is an accomplished communications leader with extensive experience in high-profile organizations. Currently serving as the Director of Communications at the World Health Organization since March 2019, Gabriella previously held the position of Director of Media & External Relations at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation from January 2016 to February 2019. Gabriella's career began as a Reporter at the Omaha World-Herald, followed by a significant tenure as Deputy Managing Editor at Dow Jones & The Wall Street Journal from April 1991 to December 2015. Gabriella holds a Master's degree in Political Science and Government as well as a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature, both from Yale University.
