Hala Habib

Hala Habib is an experienced communication professional currently serving as a Communication Officer and Communications Consultant at the World Health Organization since June 2019, where responsibilities include managing COVID-19 communication strategies, media relations, and developing information packages for WHO Lebanon. Hala has a diverse background, having held positions at the World Bank as a Communications Consultant and at USAID - Baladi Cap as a Senior Communication Specialist, among others. Hala's early career includes significant contributions as a Communication Officer at UNICEF, particularly during the 2006 war, and as Editor in Chief of Absolute Beirut magazine. Hala holds a Master's degree in Corporate Communication Management from the Rome Business School and a Bachelor of Science in Communication and Media Studies.
