Mohammad al Safadi

Mohammad Al Safadi is a Senior Health Officer at the World Health Organization since May 2017, with substantial experience in health policy and management. Prior to this role, Mohammad served as a Health Policy and Systems Researcher at Harvard University and held various leadership positions within the Qatar Red Crescent Society, including Chief Medical Officer, where leadership extended to over 600 personnel and a healthcare network in Syria. Additional roles include Regional Health Director and Medical Coordinator, focusing on health services for Syrian refugees. Mohammad's expertise is supported by a Master’s Degree in Global Health from Harvard University and an MBA in Business Administration from the University of Bath. Diverse externships in gastroenterology, cardiology, neurology, endocrinology, and family medicine complement the comprehensive medical education obtained from Mutah Medical School, culminating in a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS).
