Philippe Cavailler

Philippe Cavailler is a seasoned epidemiologist with extensive experience in public health and epidemiology. Currently serving as a Senior Epidemiologist at the World Health Organization since January 2015, Cavailler has held significant roles including Senior Epidemiologist at the Institut Pasteur and Project Director at Agence de Médecine Préventive. Previous positions include Head of the Innovation Unit at Médecins Sans Frontières Suisse and a Senior Research Fellow at the National University of Singapore. Cavailler's career commenced as a Senior Epidemiologist at Epicentre, contributing to the field during various pivotal positions including a Medical Officer at the World Health Organization's HIV Unit.
