Alvin Sanders

Alvin Sanders has a extensive work experience in various roles within the non-profit and ministry sectors. Alvin started their career in 1995 as the Director of Hope For Families at City Gospel Mission, where they worked until 1998. Alvin then moved on to Circle Urban Ministries and served as the Head Chaplain from 1998 to 2000. In 2000, Alvin became the Senior Pastor at River of Life Church, where they stayed until 2007. During this time, they also held the position of Director of Ethnic Ministries at Cincinnati Christian University from 2004 to 2007. In 2007, they joined EFCA as the Executive Director of Reconciliation, and later became the Associate Executive Director, ReachNational. In 2015, Alvin transitioned to World Impact Inc, firstly as the Senior Vice President until 2017, and they currently serve as the President & CEO.

Alvin Sanders has a strong educational background in various fields. Alvin pursued their Bachelor of Science degree in Biblical Studies at Cincinnati Christian University from 1992 to 1995. After completing their undergraduate education, they furthered their studies at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, where they obtained a Master of Arts degree in Religion & Urban Ministry between 1998 and 2000. Alvin's commitment to education did not end there, as they pursued a PhD in Educational Leadership at Miami University from 2002 to 2006. Alvin'sdiverse educational experiences contribute to their well-rounded knowledge and expertise in biblical studies, religion and urban ministry, and educational leadership.
