Joo-Lee Lim

Managing Director, WiL Strategic Partners at World Innovation Lab

Joo-Lee Lim is the current Managing Director of WiL Strategic Partners at World Innovation Lab. Prior to this, they were the Vice President of Technology Investment Group (TIG) at GIC from August 2007 to January 2019. In this role, they were responsible for investing in VC and growth funds as well as minority deals in the private markets. Joo-Lee also pursued cross-over investments in the public market stocks.

Before joining GIC, Joo-Lee was an Associate Director at Standard Chartered Bank from May 2006 to August 2007. In this role, they advised top management on global topics for the Group Strategy team. Key projects they worked on include the bank's remittance strategy, JV analysis, global talent development, and integration of acquired banks.

Joo-Lee began their career as a Business Analyst at McKinsey & Company from February 2004 to February 2006.

Joo-Lee Lim's educational career includes a Master of Science in Economic and Social Theirtory from the University of Oxford, where they focused on challenges facing affluent countries, women, and family policies. Joo-Lee also has a Master of Science in Management Science from the Saïd Business School at the University of Oxford. In addition, they hold a Bachelor of Accountancy from Nanyang Technological University Singapore and is a graduate of Raffles Institution.
