Thomas Hordin

Thomas Hordin is an accomplished Process Engineer and Freeform Team Leader at Optimax Systems, Inc. since November 2011, specializing in the design and development of manufacturing processes for freeform optical components. In addition to engineering, Thomas has been a book author focusing on science fiction since February 2021. As a Team Beachbody Coach since January 2010, Thomas motivates individuals towards health and fitness, leading monthly challenge groups. Thomas also serves as a 4th dahn martial arts instructor at Kuk Sool Won, teaching children and adults since January 2005. Prior experience includes work with optical manufacturing at Tropel from April 1995 to November 2011, engaging with various machine platforms for spherical and aspheric optics. Educational background includes studies at Monroe Community College from 1996 to 1997 and Finger Lakes Community College from 1988 to 1990.
