Dana Whitaker is an experienced professional in media sales and business growth, currently serving as a Client Partner at The Economist since August 2024. With a longstanding tenure at The Wall Street Journal since November 2004, Dana has held various senior roles, including Director of Strategic Business Growth, where the focus is on multi-media and custom content revenue within the UK, and Head of Sales for the UK, Germany, and Central and Eastern Europe. Dana has also led international business growth for Dow Jones Media and managed financial client advertising sales. Additionally, Dana holds the position of Director at the World Media Group since January 2020 and has prior experience in business development at Thoburns and advertising sales at CNBC and Blair Television. Dana is an alumnus of the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
